‘Tis the season. The season to ask the question. You know the question. It’s the “give up until next year” question. My phone rings every day with employers and job seekers alike asking me, “Should I even bother trying to interview now? Or should I just give up and wait to start fresh in January?”
Don’t give up. Not now.
Most people don’t realize that, with two exceptions, the next 10 weeks are some of the most productive recruiting weeks of the year. (About those two exceptions … I’ll concede that very little interviewing is going to happen during the two weeks from Dec. 22 to Jan. 6 this year).
