Education Coordinator

The National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP) is a growing nonprofit providing educational opportunities for 35,000 insurance professionals globally, ensuring they are well-trained to handle complex subrogation claims, ultimately contributing to safer products, better consumer protections, and improved outcomes for those affected by losses. As Education Coordinator for NASP, you will report to and work closely with the Education Manager to manage, oversee, and improve our portfolio of education programs and events.

In this role, you will manage the “Nuggets for Newbies” program, support the CSRP Certification process, and facilitate monthly webinars. You will own all scheduling, communication, monitoring, and reporting for these programs, ensuring smooth execution and continuous improvement to align with evolving industry needs. You’ll also collaborate with the CEO and Education Manager to plan and execute two annual pop-up events, managing all logistics to ensure their success. Additionally, you’ll provide coordination support for our Annual and Spring Conferences. You’ll travel to attend these events in person, providing on-site support while seeing the direct impact of your efforts come to life.

This dynamic role requires a blend of project management and communication skills, precise attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality content delivery. As you grow in the position and with NASP, you’ll have the opportunity to lead committees developing new programs and take increasing ownership of education initiatives.

 

Work Environment, Salary, and Benefits

  • You’ll enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule with Tuesdays plus an additional day in our Pittsburgh, PA, office. You can expect to travel up to 20 days annually to support programs and events.
  • The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $55K – $60K. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience; candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply, and compensation will be adjusted accordingly. Key Responsibilities

Manage “Nuggets for Newbies” Programming

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of the “Nuggets for Newbies” program, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and accessible for new members.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to curate content tailored to industry newcomers.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, implementing improvements as necessary.

Manage CSRP Certification Program

  • Administer the CSRP (Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional) Certification Program, including candidate management, scheduling, and communication.
  • Maintain records of certified professionals and manage the retake process.

Facilitate Webinars

  • Manage the logistics of webinar scheduling and execution, ensuring a seamless experience for presenters and attendees.
  • Moderate webinars.
  • Analyze feedback to improve future sessions.

Facilitate NASP Pop-Up Events

  • Plan and execute NASP pop-up events at various locations across the country, including site selection, event logistics, and participant coordination.
  • Manage event budgets and provide post-event reports and analysis.

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a nonprofit, association, insurance industry, or related field, with transferable skills in education coordination, event planning, or program management.
  • Proficiency with communication and collaboration tools (e.g., WebEx, GoToWebinar, Microsoft Office, etc.), with the ability to manage both virtual and in-person events.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams, build relationships, and coordinate efforts across various stakeholders and sectors.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20 days per year, with accommodations provided as necessary to support in-person events and logistical tasks.
