Under the direction of the Director, Human Resources select, or develop and conduct, training and development programs designed to attain strategic objectives of the Hospital and to enhance employee, and leader career development. This position offers the opportunity to lead and support a variety of strategic HR initiatives, including Target Selection, Leadership Model, Competency Model, Talent Management process, Succession planning and Performance Management.  
 
Requires related degree, 5 years direct experience, especially including quality improvement process (Malcolm Baldridge preferred).  Advanced course work in training and counseling is preferred. 
 
 

International HR Director, Urban Institute, Washington DC

Support field work for the Center on International Development and Governance (IDG) by collaborating with the Director of IDG, IDG home office staff, Chiefs of Party (COP) and human resource field office staff.  Develop HR initiatives, policies and programs that complement existing practices, recruit and relocate employees, facilitate on-boarding, maintain HRIS, ensure internal equity of pay and benefits, manage international compensation plan, and provide training for local nationals on UI policies and procedures.
 
Requires related Master's degree, 5+ years of HR experience, including two supporting international staff, and superior office, communication and computer skills.
 
 

Director, Talent Management, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Washington DC 

Provide overall strategic leadership to the HR team, and drive the Foundation's talent acquisition, retention, and deployment functions with a key focus on workforce planning. The Director will have demonstrated success with designing and implementing talent focused plans and strategies in similar organizations. This US-based Director will work closely with the field-based Director, International HR to provide the Foundation with high level, proactive staffing support and to communicate the strategic direction of the Foundation to staff globally. The ideal candidate will be well versed in non-traditional recruitment methods, have a solid understanding of integrated talent management approaches and promote a creative, collaborative work environment.
